I have been looking and following for sometime the best way to Roaming and best price and with good services. My two best solutions are MaxRoam and United-Mobile each company has is pro's and con's but are the better alternative I have found.
MaxRoam (http://maxroam.com)
1-Reasonable prices, charged outgoing and incoming. (prices have reduced and are very competitive
2-Can get an incoming line in several countries, a fixed line so prices are better for people that call you.
3-Can forward your incoming number from the web page anywhere, also send SMS at .05c
4-Now offers data but at a price of US 5.00 a Mg so its for very like use.

United-Mobile (http://www.united-mobile.com)
1-Reasonable prices outgoing calls, free incoming calls in Europe and some countries
2-Data possible at about 1 Euros per Mg, not the best but good for occasional and light use.
3-Do not like they have a service charge on every call or data connection.
4-Very good web page, for information to order etc

Roaming in USA:
None of the above services have a reasonable cost in USA or Europe's provider, do not why, none are are lower than 1~2 Euros/min. United-Mobile charges 1.20 Euro per Mg aprox.
Best solution I have found is ATT prepaid:
US$1 a day + .10c/min and for data you have several alternatives, including US$19.99 unlimited 30 days.

The beginning of better prices in Roaming for European operators, in my case I know France, where Orange has "one Country" 30 days for 5 Euro 60 min incoming and outgoing calls for .37c. In data they offer 5 Euros 3Mg, 20 Euro 20Mg etc to use in one week. At least is a beginning.
Will be good to have a comparative of data prepaid in Europe.

Roaming operators above suppose they will look at the rates of home operators as they improve, to be competitive.

Note: MaxRoam and United-mobile I use and test, so above comments are from my experience.

Note: United Mobile seems to be out of service with economics problems, and MaxRoam made some changes, I will make an update. Also operator have made improvements on EU price and data, offering packages.
